About SchmidtCents
Most budgeting apps ask you to build a budget, then make you feel bad about it. SchmidtCents works the other way round: one screen a day that shows what's safe to spend, what's coming up, and at most one move worth making, measured against your own normal.
A minute a day, not a weekend of spreadsheets. And if nothing needs doing, nothing does.
Who builds it
SchmidtCents started with a friend of mine who tracks every penny in a spreadsheet. He always knows exactly where his money stands.
Most people aren't going to keep a spreadsheet like that. So I took what he tracks and built it into an app for the everyday person. It does most of the tracking for you and gives you the answer on one screen a day: what's safe to spend, what's coming up, and at most one move worth making.
