Questions Worth Asking
Is my data safe?
Bank connections go through Plaid, and SchmidtCents gets read-only access to balances and transactions. Your account is protected with multi-factor authentication, and data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Can SchmidtCents move my money?
Not on its own. Linking your bank only lets us read it. Transfers between your own accounts are a separate, opt-in feature, and money only moves when you start or schedule a transfer yourself.
How do you make money?
From Premium subscriptions. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use your financial data for advertising.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel in Settings → Billing, including during the 7-day trial. You keep Premium until the end of the period you've paid for.
What happens to my data if I close my account?
We delete your personal and financial information and remove your bank connections at Plaid. You can also export your data first.
